D90 and 50D samples
DPReview has posted sample images from the 50D and some sample images / videos from the D90.
The images from the 50D are pretty good, especially considering the 50% jump in mega-pixels. The 1600 ISO image of a copper plate showing a ship is remarkably free from noise while still retaining plenty of detail.
There’s no 1600 ISO image for the D90 but there are two 3200 ISO ones. Personally, I think these two images (crocodile & newpaper) are a bit fuzzy. I realise this is 3200 ISO but it does look as if the noise reduction has been cranked up. There isn’t that much noise but there’s not much detail either.
It’s going to be interesting to see a comparative test of these two models.
